Getting Ginyu Month 2 Progress Report

How has my work out regime survived into month 2 of 2017?

Pretty well. I’m going to the gym twice a week, for an hour at least, and I’ve been more careful about what I eat – there’ only been three instances of takeaway, and I think two of those were actually within calories. I’ve also been told that I’ve lost weight, which is always a good feeling! Even if I’ve not actually lost any…That means I lost shape, right? That’s better, yeah?

Getting Ginyu – Killing Fat Softly (Again)

So the time has come again for me to start dieting – or, more precisely, sticking to the half-hearted, part time diet I’ve been ‘on’ for the last six months. New year’s is a good enough time to start, although I expect the gym’ll be packed. However I need to start now, and start hard, because in May my brother’s and I are going to Comicon as the Ginyu Force from Dragon Ball Z.

Working Out Your Diet on Someone’s Big Day

My cousin got married very recently, and of course I went to the wedding. First and foremost, congratulations to you and Tom, Hannah, and I hope you enjoy your honeymoon! I know you read my blog (thanks!) so I thought I’d add an extra set of well wishes here for you both! Apart from my [AFOREMENTIONED ISSUES WITH SUITS] the wedding did present me with one other spike of personal trauma, albeit not on the scale of what the bride and groom felt – weddings involve feasts, and feasts involve kissing your diet goodbye!

Collecting The Wrong Kind of Pounds.

I think I’m eating too much. This may seem an obvious conclusion, but the important implication here is that I also think it might be due to another factor. Admittedly it’s not that much of a complicated conclusion; I’m not getting enough exercise. But surely they are one and the same? Isn’t that what I’ve been talking about for so long on this somewhat-frequented blog?

Self Help Comes from the Self

Today I found out that, for the first time in a while, I am not obese.

This definition comes from the NHS BMI calculator – check out if you like. Take heed of this warning, though – Body Mass Index is a lying son of a bitch.

“but it’s a proven medical concept!” – Oh yeah? Got any healthy mates? Athletic ones? People who maybe use the gym twice a week year round? Go check out their BMI. You’ll find they’re overweight, probably obese.
